My mother is too smart for me and my father?
It really seems like you are more worried about this than you should be. But speaking with a therapist may be a good idea, and a good opportunity for you to really get some things figured out.
Theatre kid seeking help with covering self-injury scars?
Hi, okay so let me get to the point: I cut, up and down my inner left wrist. I just do, and it's none of your business to tell me that it's a problem and I should stop (go ahead, tell me, and see how much I care). Anyway, I'm a stage actress and I'm performing in an upcoming production of Seussical in the next two weeks. I found out today that my costume is essentially a leotard and a boa. Nothing to cover my arms, and I dance (so I obviously have to use my arms comfortably). Now, you can see my problem: I can't cover all of the fresh, obviously self inflicted, cuts on my arms and going to my director and asking her to help me with the costume is the LAST thing I want to do. What makeup/cheap stage makeup can I buy to cover them effectively? I was thinking of buying a tub of Mortician's Wax, but I don't have $30 at the moment. Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you (:
Would it be so wrong to tell someone they're a slob?
If you wish to tell this woman the truth, then I think you should. She is owed an honest reason for your reservation of her getting in on the car pool, and it will make you feel better as well. It is ok to tell her that, while getting in on the car pool is fine, it is the condition of your vehicle that has rubbed you the wrong way...and then explain in a bit more detail. It is only courteous to keep a tidy vehicle when offering [expected] rides to others. If she pitches a fit, well, she will get over it or be mad a long time. perhaps she will clean out her car and you will all ride happily ever after.
Are we truly empty space, small molecules and electric fields?
Hello there, I just want to know if this has been confirmed as it's relatively strange. Apparently the amount of anti-matter or space between atoms is infinitely larger than the matter that it consists of, and the only reason "solid" objects do not pass through each other is because the empty space between the particles of matter consist of electric fields that repel all other electric fields. Also, if this is the case, we're basically all just giant negative and positive polarity magnets. Has this been confirmed at all, or is it simply a theory at this stage?
How do the merits of Jesus Christ become mine?
"The merits of Christ are necessary for a man to receive justification" -- uh, really man?! Granted he existed, the dude was just like any other ordinary Joe...except for his megalomaniacal tendencies perhaps.
How do I prevent a soccer injury?
I am new to soccer, I am VERY afraid of getting a brutal injury like a broken bone, please tell how to prevent it because we have a training tomorrow.
Can i switch schools my son is in?
You should just be able to enroll him in the school you want him to go to by speaking to that school. You may also want to speak to an official at the school district and/or the school board - but start with the principal of the school he is currently in, and you can even speak with the principal of the school you would like him to go to.
