Why is everyone saying H2S is polar, shouldn't it be NONPOLAR?

Like Oxygen, Sulfur atoms have two lone pairs. These are electrons in P orbitals which are not involved in bonding. The lone pairs are more negative than the two Hydrogen atoms and this makes water and hydrogen sulfide polar. Water has a much higher melting point because hydrogen bonds can form between Hydrogen and Oxygen atoms.
