Why does it feel like my head's being poked when i touch this injury?

Ok, I was at my friend's house and long story short I hit my head really hard on a desk when I was going to stand up. I got this cut on the right side of my head in my hair. It got a scab, but i went to touch it to find it because I had to show my mom and when I touched it it felt like something was poking my head near the back. What was that feeling? It's scaring me a bit about what it could be, but probably isn't. And now it feels odd. Or am I just fine and overreacting? It's like a weird pressure towards the back of my head, I stopped touching it but it still feels odd.
