When shopping for a replacement power supply, does polarity matter?

So, I just purchased a Roland EP75 keyboard, but the power supply is missing. In looking online, I've found plenty of what I need (12V 1A) but they've all had a polarity opposite of my keyboard. Basically, I'm wondering if the polarity matters in this case.
