Are we truly empty space, small molecules and electric fields?

Hello there, I just want to know if this has been confirmed as it's relatively strange. Apparently the amount of anti-matter or space between atoms is infinitely larger than the matter that it consists of, and the only reason "solid" objects do not pass through each other is because the empty space between the particles of matter consist of electric fields that repel all other electric fields. Also, if this is the case, we're basically all just giant negative and positive polarity magnets. Has this been confirmed at all, or is it simply a theory at this stage?
