Head injury question?

A few months ago (about 8) my brother and I had a fight and he threw me against a cabinet and the left side of the back of my head hit the corner of it and it was bleeding really badly, all down my hair and dripping onto the floor and everything. I didn't get it checked out, do you think I should have and do you think anythIng could be wrong after that injury? There's still a bump from where the blow to my head is, it's still healing
