It's the teaching of the Bible that Justification isn't as the Roman Catholics believe a process of becoming righteous through moral living (i.e. observing the Law), but is a declaration that one is forgiven and saved though faith alone in Christ who atoned for everyone's sin. The Law or Ten Commandments aren't done away with for the Christian but they only act as guide as to how we should behave so that we don't fall back again into a sinful lifestyle.
