Is there anyone here with exstensive knowledge on magnets and electromagnets?

I was watching this show ancient aliens. They mentioned this man that built modern megolithic structures in florida. I don't remember the mans name just that he was a very small slender man. The weird thing though is he was building this park of huge rock structures some weighing several tons. The weird part is he had no help whatsoever. He claimed he rediscovered the ancient egyption art of making large objects weightless. in the few photos they showed of the mans aparatus for hoisting the rocks there was a tripod like frame made of three florida pines and some chains. Also in the photos was a strange black box on the top of the tripod. After his death the black box was never seen again. I know your prob thinking he probably just had some people help him but the man and very few friends and was a social recluse his whole life. They found a large magnetic machine in the mans basement and he was known to talk about electromagnetism. My questions are: Do all large rocks, boulders and other minerals have at least some small amount of magnetism or magnetic frequency to them? If so would it be possible to some how reverse the magnetic polarity between the earth and these large rocks in order to make it levitate or in some way become weightless? Would this be possible through some sort of electro magnetism? I know that the earth its self produces a magnetic pull. There has to be someway to use that to our advantage. Please refrain from any insulting comments asking if im still in school or saying they teach this in school.
