Cat with Wound! Please Help!?

I found a 4 week old kitten outside of my work and decided to keep it. He has been to the vet for his de-worming but its to early for any vaccines just yet. I was giving him a bath because he was filthy and there were some of those plant sticker things on him so my room mate tried to cut them off with scissors and ended up cutting a dime size hole in the top layer of his skin. It never bled. I'm super freaked out and don't know what to do! He is sleeping and seems like it doesn't bother him but I don't want it to get infected. He is such a sweet little thing. Can anyone please help me?
